Discover NYU Langone Health

The extraordinary employees of NYU Langone Health are why we’re one of the nation’s premier destinations for excellence. As a Magnet®-recognized organization, NYU Langone empowers our nurses to deliver world-class nursing care in an intellectually stimulating academic environment.

NYU Langone's plan for providing world-class patient care on its main campus is achieved by building the state-of-the-art, 830,000-square-foot Helen L. and Martin S. Kimmel Pavilion, alongside Tisch Hospital. The Kimmel Pavilion, opened in June 2018 and also home to the new Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital (HCH), is our latest facility with 11 floors and 374 beds devoted to inpatient care.

Medical Center Information Technology (MCIT) is tightly integrated operationally and strategically to the mission of NYU Langone. MCIT staff are directly engaged in improving the institution’s ability to care for its patients, train its students, and remain at the forefront of groundbreaking innovation.

Excellence in Research & Education

NYU Langone Health is home to scientists, researchers and technicians from 55 different countries. Our collaborations have led to more than 4,000 scientific publications in the last year alone, and with over 900 clinical trials currently being conducted, we are making a real-world impact on patient outcomes.

Our Chief Executive Officer and Dean, Dr. Robert I. Grossman, announced in 2018 that NYU Grossman School of Medicine will offer full-tuition scholarships to medical students to address the rising costs of medical education and attract the best and brightest students to careers in medicine.

“Right from the start, I said we had an aspirational agenda, and one of the things we thought about was having a tuition-free medical school. I was always a scholarship student, and I came from a family that didn’t have a lot of means. So I knew what it meant not only to get scholarships and loans, but also to try to pay them back,” Dr. Grossman says.

At NYU Langone Health, we maintain exceptional outpatient facilities throughout the NYC metro area, all five boroughs, and communities in the Hudson Valley. The Faculty Group Practice (FGP) is a group of more than 2,200 physicians in more than 230 sites owned and operated as part of NYU Langone.
