Route Planning and Optimization Specialist
We're in search of an experienced Logistics professional to assist our Couriers and Dispatchers by planning and optimizing daily routes. The ideal candidate will have experience working within TMS and at least 4 years of route planning experience. If this matches you, we'd love to speak with you. **This position is based in office so candidate will need to be local to the Phoenix/Greater Phoenix Area**
This position works collaboratively with operations to provide routine route optimiatzations, support route updates, manage existing routes within a route management system and develops routes needed for special projects. This position will perform all necessary duties of various Logistics positions at a high level to meet Logistics department needs and the needs of our clients and may be responsible for a technical and/or administrative area of focus.
Qualifications & Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Four (4) years of logistics acumen and route planning experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience.
