'senile ' because I have lived a life that was before the 60s and after the 60s, you can now add "I" am unfeeling to your list of definitions of me, IRMA ROBINSON.examples in general..... When I saw pictures of those nooses hanging in that school yard in Jena, La. It made me feel good...I WAS ELATED BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT ONE DEAD B-L-A-C-K BODY ON THE ENDS OF THOSE ROPES!!!!!!!! When I heard about James Bain's getting out of prison after 35 years, because DNA had proved him to be innocent, I felt good...I FELT GOOD AS MAY BE THIS WILL GO FAR TO HELP US AS A PEOPLE, AFRICAN-AMERICANS must learn more about our own (unique) history in order to make our present better so that our children and their children will have EQUAL JUSTICE!!!!!!!! examples in specific, (relates to the "Is the BIA community better off today than yesterday" blog of Mr.Weston's)...THIS BLOG CONTAINED SOME STATISTICS OF OUR BLACK MEN IN PRISON TODAY...and here is some of my comment on this blog. HOw many people by color have been proven innocent 20-30-4 years after being in prison: A. no defense in court as required by the Constitution B. because of skin color C. because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and all Blacks look a like Here are two comments addressed to me over my comment... 1. This is probably why the African-American community is the way it is today. I don't expect you to not hold resent over historical events your from the civil rights era. America succeeded it's goals in ligislation of intergration ethnicity into common place, with equal opportunity. That part is over, Irma. 2. You'll defend any African-American just because they are black is the premise I've concluded.

Mom and Derek, this is just what Minister Dr. Ava Muhammad meant in her video lecture "Slavery Still Exists"! Before you judge another black person Brother, I'd advice you know the history and not use it against them. I'm sorry for being sarcastic but the ignorance, labeling Irma "OLD", is astounding coming from you. I wish many more of our people would grab a book instead of grabbing a joint.

Bottomline are the racial issues that still are alive and well in America. I read that Mr. Bains was denied several requests for DNA testing years ago.
How often are we denied in this country based on our skin color?
There indeed is a price for freedom, rest assure it certainly isn't free!

They never listen to meor Siebra, but then they never ask me any questions, they only tell us who we 'are' according to their values of all that is not them...I can not begin to tell how how shocked, suprised and so very happy when your coming on to this blog, got a QUESTION rather than a CONCLUSIONS followed by insults and put downs...
This did end as soon as it began, but this was a major, progressive step showing a sign of human behavior...A SEEKING MIND...

I believe that I bug Harry more than he bugs me, because if he bothered me I would shut him out of my life, but this is the beauty of all of us being different and yet being able to accept these differences "unconditionally". As far as I see it, it is in trying to live or control the lives of others that we seem to run into difficulties...
I look at Harry as someone who is dependant on the good will of others to make him somebody and he can only accomplish this if "I" someone else allows him to step on me in order to lift himself up...this I am not into doing...this computer is a part of my life, but not my life...
I meet a lot of interesting peoples on this site...some I like and some I really, really like, but this is what life is all about...enjoying what one does.(smile) and I will see all of you tomorrow.

Derek, my best "I" can give you is to stop trying to find the prefect / proper excuses for being / not being the best person you can be...try to make your goal in life to gain happiness, security and faith and trust in your own self that no person, poace thing or situation you find yourself in that no one can take from you...this I call the first law of nature TO SURVIVE!!!! only a person who loves themselves can ever even try to accomplish this AND ABOVE ALL NEVER EVER LIE TO YOUR OWN SELF...
Please, take a look at all of the dfferent Derek Murphys you have exibited in just this blog alone...and if you don't mind, I will relate something to you that a young man told a young white lady when see said as you have just said about not seeing color...HIS PRIDE IN BEING WHO HE WAS GAVE HIM THE POWER TO SAY TO HER, "I identify myself as Black and I will not allow you to take away me identity".
This is to say that only "I" can define who and what "I" am and not you and this is why "I" have no need to stoop to calling names or insults as this is the right of mine that I would never try to take away from nor ever fail to defendd another person's rights to this just to make me believe that I am some body...

NOw if at all possiable please, please, please try to get this into your CONSCIOUS mind..."I" am the most important person on this earth to me and I do hope that you are able to believe, trust and love your own self enough to say the same about your self..."I" , and only me am responisble for my own actions, not you or anyone else...
