Mom, I just got through private messaging someone on this board who asked the question, "I wonder why abortion was omitted from the health care bill?" The first thing I wanted to tell them upon reading the question was "Abortion? Are you nuts?"
This health care bill is about helping the people, it says absolutely nothing about abortion. This bill was passed to provide better health care for the people of the United States. Those who are looking at it strictly from an abortion point of view are not thinking about the betterment of the people.
Many anti-abortion Democrats made a deal with the White House. This deal was that they would vote for the bill if there was a presidential executive order that said that the federal money would not be used to pay for abortions.
This should reassure all those who are worried about abortion due to the health care bill. Health care is a right, not a privilege.

I have several things to vent about...I just DON'T LIKE TECHNOLOGY! It upsets me to see very useful and practical things being done away with only replaced with TECHNO FAILURES. Every week, there's a new phone, computer, I-pod, television and any other gadget that works worse than the previous. This automative system of the new world is really just gadget trash! I know old things were made better because they lasted longer. Try dropping your cell phone on the ground, you're in for a new one! If you can't get your internet service going because it freezes up! Cameras everywhere, no privacy anywhere, people stealing identities. I'm stuck on "Old School" I'm hollering... I'M NOT SOLD ON EVERYTHING THAT'S TECHO! Guess I'm left behind... Thanks Irma I think I yelled enough now. I'm done. BAAAAH! Sorry dear. [Smiles}

Thank you Irma! I am sending regards to you about your friend's cousin. I also lost my next door neighbor this week. She died Thursday. I have known her for 28 years. I will miss her. Clark, I believe that the greatest thing that the GOP as a unified body believe in is war makes this a respected country is cause other governments to become mini-North America ...and using the same talking points until they actually loose all of it's meanings/ purpose/use. MIISRAEL, I am in agreement with you 110%...and maybe this will help you as it helped me...
Just as I had gone to learn how to use my Word 5 program they came out with a Word 7 which made me up set as I did not want to spend another $200 for a brand new program...I went to a computer expert to "VENT" about this and he said, Irma do you remember when the schools were given the computers by Micrsoft, but they had to buy their probrams...then he said as soon as they figure out what is wrong with the last program they had put on the open market, they put out a brand new program and it just goes on and on like this...
Bride, I did like this answer as it made complete sense to me...and, this computer expert has a small business that theaches those professional who uses these brand new programs how to use them, because he said these people must learn these brand new programs on their computers like yesterday and can not afford to go to schools on the 6-10 weeks to learn these brand new programs on their office computers. (smile)
IT IS ALL ABOUT GREED AND BRAINWASHING OF OUR YOUTH TAHT THEY MUST HAVE the latest TO BE RESPECTED BY THEIR PEERS...

CLARK, right now the way it is going with our politicians especially with the Republicans "eating their own" the Democrats may not even have to say a word as the GOP and the Teapartyers and the Birthers knock each other out of the running...because as "I" just said "I" do believe taht over all this is a conservative and a Christian country...
between the movies and what we see on our tv news and news papers about crime and fraud and such hate and self distructions by durgs and our children killing each others...we have lost all most all of our actual values as a peoples...
I only hoe that we in the country have not been so totally brainwashed that they now believe the only blacks can be violent in the real world!!!!!...
right now "I" actually am starting to believe that these people really don't believe what they are doing to each other as WHITE people is violent /criminal, because they have convinced themselves the our president is Black and this is his doing not theirs...now this is sceary. The GOP are the gifts to the Democrats and this country as the gifts taht keeps on coming...have you seen Rich's blog on how Rachael Maddow is fighting back at Brown as he is teh GOP's latest pride and joy for replacing Senater Ted Kennedy and how they are right now trying to get rid of his for getting this out against the GOP. love it all. I really had no plans to be the first to post a vent, but right after I made this blog I learned about this repealing of the HCRB's parts that the Republicans don't like in it...it
seems our former president Bush used how if people sent him campaign donations that as soon as he got into office he would repeal the same s*x marriage laws. No one heard any more about this repealing of a law after he was elected...
NOw it seems as the law suits by states have been filed, John McCain and Mitt Romney are asking for campaign donations so that they will be able to repeal the insurance mandate as soon as they get into office...
My main problem in believeing this is actually another out and out scam on the public is because I just saw Romney on an interview only last night on Larry King where these words came out of his mouth about he is not running for any thing because King asked him point blank if he would be rinning for any political office!!!!!!! romney said that he is only interested in one thing, selling his book!!!
but, this is just fine, because the way things are going these politicians are going to not be able to get over on the voters this time around too much new and unique things are going on today that is going to require a lot of answers from our political figures as never before...(smile)
