thanks so very much for sharing. Anyone remember any of youR favorite Bible verses from Sunday school..."I" am even willing to bet we all had the same one because it was so short....(smile) "JESUS WEPT". LOL...

Irma--That is so funny!
Two friends of mine--brother and sister--told the story of how they w re in the same Sunday school class and everyone in the class had to go around in turn to say a bible verse by heart.
The sister (she was younger and, well, you know little sisters) always tried to go first so she could deliver that two word verse: "JESUS WEPT".
And after she did, she would always stick her tongue out at him because she knew she beat him at it.
Yeah, I love that verse.

I can tell you this my favorite BOOK in the BIBLE is the BOOK OF RUTH...... I love that story.... I even cry when I read it now... Ruth really loved her mother-in-law... just thinking about it makes feel..........

This is my favorite Bible verse:
"Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 (NIV)
And this is my favorite from the Quran:
"Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for God loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds. Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of God is (always) near to those who do good."
- Surah 7 Verses 55 - 56
Both these quotes are very inspiring and show that no matter what, we can always ask Allah for forgiveness and that he is always near.
