THE PARTY OF "N-O" ON AN UP OR DOWN VOTE IN THE SENATE HAS STRUCK AGAIN...DEMS. YES 57... (281 hits)

GOP (true to their promise) N-O 41..this was on the first 'test' voting for a up or down vote on the FINANCE REGULATION BILL 3217 that needed 60 votes...N-O, "I" am not surprised at all as they have always said they would follow their talking points to the bitter end. (smile)

I was blown away watching Sheldon Whitehouse, the (D) Senater from Rhode Island telling the story of Joshua from the Bible and right after doing this he gave warning to the party of N-O...he said it may take 7 days to bring down that wall of "NO" or 17 or 27 times this, but the Democrats would be there on the floor of the Senate holding voting sessions until that times comes...

Or in other words at least the democrats were going to do what it takes to get the job they were sent there to do done!!!!

As for me, I say, it is about time! (smile)

...so sorry, I saw this on c-span 2 today after the vote was still 41 to 57 and needing 60 votes to get to just debate the bill.(smile)
