"I" BELIEVE I HAVE EVER SEEN ON THIS SITE, SO FAR...and, this actual wordings only just now has hit me and hit me hard, and low and hurtful as I am a proud " BlackWoman" and mother, and wife and grandmother...these are the words (discriptions) "I" am talking about... "...so many black woman living lives where they have to share men (who sometimes have multiple children)...What next, Black women should not be included in the Mother's day celebrations?!?

Honestly I think that it's all about a woman and how she see's herself. Why would anyone feel as though they "have" to share a man?
Some women are so desperate to have someone (I won't say a man.. Because a real man won't go out like that) she will do whatever. I know that pride is a deadly sin... but I'd be by myself before I share a man...

I believe it is the DUTY of the Father and Mother to Raise a disciplined daughter.
I believe it is the DUTY of the Father and Mother to Look for a Son in Law for their daughter.
now for me, my first daughter is quite tall, over 6'3"----
I knew a young man from Ethiopia who I saw most mornings at the Masjid Fajr prayer and during SharRamadhan.
He just so happened to be 6'6", a university graduate, working on a law degree--and no interest in basketball.
He had seen my disciplined, intelligent, beautiful, and tall daughter at her graduation as Valedictorian. And was interested but not sure.
His Father had died years earlier.
I went with him to Africa to meet his mother, his uncles and other brothers and sisters. I had already married twice in East African, so I loved the dorowat, injera, tipps, etc. etc. AND I loved his family---long story short:
I have and it is my DUTY to arrange all the Marriages of my Family.....

2. Allâah’s Messengers from Adaam, to Nuh, to Ibraheem, to Musa, to IsaIbnMaryam, [ to respect them greatly and to believe that He is Allâah’s Last Messenger, and to fight and follow his Sunnah - (and the legal ways of AtTaurat, AlIngeel, AzZaboor and AlQur'aan)]
3. All the Muslims [to order them for Al-Ma‘rûf (Islâamic Monotheism, and all that AlIslâam orders one to do), and to forbid them from Al-Munkar (disbelief, polytheism,paganism, and all that The Creator has forbidden), and to be merciful and kind to them].

Cynthia, this is one of the main reasons I take people as they are. Why, I persoanlly believe that we can not socialize natural instincts to survive and be experts on anyone but our ownselves...
I do know "I" did not raise my two girls to ever even think they were not the most important persons on this earth therefore never ever accept being second, any thing...I will never forget being taught to love your own self was being selfish...If one has no self worth they will end up believeing they are worthless there fore they are in need of an identity...and, there are Harrys and Jamals and pimps and scam artist out there all day long ready and willing to be their guides...
SO FAR I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYONE WITH MORE POWER THAN "MOTHER POWER". MORE LOVE AND RESPECT THAN BLACK PRIDE , BUT, AS I KEEP SAYING "I" AM BIASED LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL (SMILE)

Robert, have you noticed how your comment was about you and this man andhis family and yet nothing about your daughter?!?Much like she is not even a part of the rest of heer life...but marriage I guess is all about producing children from a what, BABY MACHINE...SORRY BUT EVEN THE LAWS IN THIS COUNTRY SAYS A WIFE CAN BE RAPED BY HER HUSBAND...hundreds of years after slavery has ended but the female is slowly but surely getting equal rights and protections under the laws/ books/ traditoins written by MEN for their pleasures-'superego' (smile)
This is why I see things like this as putting a female on an auction block and if nothing else, it is a form of discrmination against the female...
But, this is me, and what "I" passed on to my children, and they on to their children as my mother taught me and her mother tought her and so on and so on. (smile)... "I" am someone who refuses to accept any thing less than E-Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y ADDED TO "I" AM THE ONLY ONE QUALIFIED TO LIVE MY LIFE. (smile)
