Hello Irma,
Black Americans are a new breed or race of people that has emerged out of the ashes of slavery. I have explained how this was so. The breeding process of White people mostly of British descent with the African slave people they purchased from the slave traders brought about the existence of Black Americans.
Black Americans is not a skin color, a lost tribe or African-Americans. Black Americans are a people as Chinese, Japanese or White American people are.

Personally, I prefer the terms "Black American" and "African American" in opposition to using the words "Negro" or "N****".
As far as I'm concerned, Black American/African American is an ETHNIC group...like Hispanic American and Asian American. Black Americans/African Americans regardless of how we look or what color we are, are bound together by a culture, language, certain music, certain foods that separate us from other Americans and even other Black people around the world.
On the other hand, Negro/N**** is a RACE and if you don't meet certain standards and qualifications concerning your physical features (such as getting high, robbing, stealing and killing and the like) YOU AREN'T A NEGRO/N****. You may have some Negro in you....just like I have some White in me...but you still ain't Negro. Now it doesn't matter how much Black ancestry you have or how light or white you are, as long as you have ANY Black ancestry and are born in America then you are an Black American/African American. Period.
And let's not forget it was Brother Malcom who coined the terms "Black American" and "African American" prior to his assassination.

Hello Clark,

How did you come to determine that Black Americans in a political context would mean Black Americans stands for a new race, skin color or a lost tribe? What is your rationale based on? Are you saying that in a political context Black Americans could stand for a lost tribe? If so then what laws try could Black Americans be?
You also said this, “Genetically, scientifically the answer is clearly "no."
Now, how did you come to determine that Black Americans genetically and scientifically are not a new race or breed of people to have emerged out of the ashes of slavery? What people would just say that Black Americans are alike as one Nigerian is to one another Nigerian?
I know that Black Americans are a new breed or race of people that had emerged out of the ashes of slavery because of the breeding process between White American people and the African slave people that they purchased from the slave traders over 500 years ago. Now, since Black Americans are not natives to any country except the real estate of the USA, then if you believe that Black Americans existed anywhere else before slavery besides this the USA then please point out where, okay.

Mix racing... mulattos, octaroons, bi-racial... two seperate races mixes....
Humans mix races... based on genetics (DNA)

Black is what I use most to describe me, but I've noticed on anything page of paper asking what's your race you'll possible find African American/Afro-American most often. Rarely seen Negro and I never see Colored.

Irma... that's mans way of tinkering with genetics... and I don't believe that this is appropriate....
@ Miisrael... I use the term Black/Native American... and African American... But I will use the term People of Color.... alot of black folks just don't like to use the titles European/White Americans have given us.... We are the only race of people whom does not have a "real name".... My step father uses the word colored negro... I don't like it.... those words were used to demean us... negras, negroid, *****, negro.... I don't allow my son's to use the slang... My n*gga.... honkey... cracker... words used to demean white americans have become also dislodged in our vocabulary... So, we should do the same with these derogatory terms....
We know Irma owns this word... she uses it as her humorous way of saying... Im getting pissed off and I am about to show all of us something.....
I use the word disgruntal....

Mom, the reason why I say Black American/African American because these titles should be reserved for people of Black/African descent who have ancestors from the continent of Africa who came here and settled in America.
Now I know some people reject the term African American because a white person from Africa who settles in America could be called African American. Which is true. Just like one of the hundreds of thousands of Black people from England (like the supermodel Naomi Campbell for instance) could come to America and be considered European-American.
People often get race, nationality, and ethnicity confused because it's not properly taught (in most cases not taught at all) in the public educational system. Some people look at the term "N****" because it is now a term of endearment. But when it really boils down to it, N**** and Negro means the same thing just in different languages. The word "N****" is still a white racist term just like the word "negro."
Whether or not someone still chooses to identify themselves as "N****" or "Negro" is up to them to decide, but the truth is that most of us aren't N**** or Negro! We are Black American/African-American because we are of Black/African descent.

I felt the use of this work was/is very offensive... Today, my son's generation doesn't seem to look beyond the word "n*gga" as nothing more than a slang.... Where in.... the use of words like.... george, boy, gal (girl), mammie, uncle.... as stronlgy offensive.... because I lived throug the ending era of segregatin....
now we have to deal with racisim

Hello Clark,
Let me explain to you what racial diversity is, okay. Racial diversity is a human population isolated reproductively from other populations, whose members share a greater degree of physical and genetic similarity with one another than with other humans.
In other words, when two Chinese couple has a child and two Black American couples have a child for the next 50 years the children born to the Chinese couples will not have the physical traits and genetic similarities, as would the children born to the two Black American couples.
Have you not went to a maternity ward and soul in the nursery racially different babies that if two babies were Chinese they would have the same physical traits and genetic similarities that would not be shared by two babies that were Black Americans, am I right? So, have you ever seen a Chinese baby that would have traits and genetic similarities of Japanese and Korean? I do not think you would see that, am I right.
So please tell me, Clark that you have enough sense to discern the racial differences between an African Nigerian and in English Caucasian. If you cannot distinguish racial differences something is wrong with you, am I right.
I believe that the bottom line that you are trying to tell me Clark is that people are not racially different, am I right.

ok... BIA family..... Here it is... Irma set it up when se asked outside of this country with borders........... so now I need everyone to listen closely.... shhshh... come closer.....Harry keeps saying we are going to inherit a portion of this land.... have you notice he will say we will live in some country within the United States........ sssshhhh.... (listen closely) Harry does have an IQ of 68.....
I never knew the United States to have countries without borders??? Did you?.......I always thought the US had states and other continents had countrys????? Have I missed something in my Geography class?

I do believe that we should identify our own sleves...a little something called living in the land of the free...example, "I" identify with my culture and ansestors...African ties and my country of my birth...no more no less.

Cynthia, we as a people refuse to accept our history did not start in America nor in the 60s...but, we are begining to start to get our peoples and other races, cultures by way of public school education more racial, religious and culture tolarance and unity...O-N-E step at a time, one generation at a time...THIS OIL SPILL IS CAUSING SOME UNITY OF AMERICANS AS JUST THAT "AMERICANS"...
Hell if you noticed how Rev. J.W. was attacked for only saying that those on teh top of the ship could not have ben praying to the same God as the ones under them in chains...so it is my personal belief that until we just start to believe that skin color and culture as well as religion has a lot to do with plain old every day common sense aided by natural mutations and all for the survival of all of mankind...WE SHALL REMAIN LOST OUT HERE IN TEH UNITY WILDERNESS by way of skin colors...
This is how I keep from being stressed out...we need vitaum D and a secure social structure to survive...We need to communicate which means speak and also listen...self-respect along with treating each other as we want to be treated...or in other words.....A-L-L OF THE THINGS THAT A-L-L RELIGIONS TEACHES BUT WE ARE ON SUCH MANKIND A POWER TRIP UNTIL WE JUST VIOLATE ALL OF THE RULES IN TEH NAME OF THE CREATOR...

I have know our race to wear the names ***** just as the name black...and today just like IN all of my life...there is an accpetable way to call me thESE NAMES then as well as now...(smile)
BUT, I WOULD BE A 110% H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T IF "i" SAY ONE CAN CALL ME BLACK BUT NOT *****...AND, I DO HOPE A LOT WILL AGREE WITH WHAT OUR PRESIDENT SAID ABOUT THESE 'WORDS", "NAMES" " SOCIAL LABELS ", etc. ARE A PART OF OUR CULTURE...AND, ONE MORE THING CREATED TO HOLD US DOWN THAT WE HAVE SURVIVED.
