Irma, I've posted a link to these MSNBC videos on my Philosophy of Language blog as I think we need to take a hard look at all this talk of racism and the destruction it is doing. I could make a separate blog of it but think we can have a more sustained discussion of racism on my main blog.

Irma, I'm sorry you are stuck with that slow connection, because I know it's hard for you to view the videos too. I posted 8 links, because they break up the shows into multiple sections and I didn't know which exactly you were thinking of. I guess I could post a blog for each one but you still wouldn't be able to view them at home right? Just at the library.

You do know you can hold the left click button and drag the slider right? Or does the whole blog take too long to download? I am not just going for the numbers on that blog, but most of our blogs last such a short time, when you want to go back later and find something it can be very difficult if a blogger has posted lots of blogs. I was telling Cynthia, when we got acquainted after I got back from CA, about Jamal's smelly white men blog. Turns out it was his third on this site, so I had to go back through a lot of pages on his profile to find it.

This has to do with the structure of the BIA site, it could be arranged to make it easier to find past discussions, and I have thought about talking to the site administration about this.

Thanks for your encouraging words on my language blog. If you are at the library and could see the videos I posted links to I could post the ones you wanted separately.

I wish there was a good solution for you. There is the 3G network, but it is about $60/month for a decent plan (meaning a high enough limit on the amount of data traffic per month). That is for Verizon, ATT of course has plans too, but there are differences in coverage, and you would need to check availability in your area just like other broadband solutions.

Steve, it is my bleief that this kinds od informationgs should be offered ay and an all means necessary..."I" say this because mudh like you blog on language and this blog of mine all on the site are not going onto the blogs at all...

By any means necessary...my I am not still in the discussion on you wonderful, teaching blog on language, because I don't know how to skip to the bottom and on top of that we out where I live can't get DLS which makes trying to comment on your post very hard to do to get to wher a comment can be posted...

YOur bolg is very, very inspiring and as I said a great teaching moments discussion to long over looked on our site. (smile)

Will do and your language blog was so interesting and shuch a wonderful and welcomed change in our ususl discussion, I really enjoyed all of it and I did learn a lot reading the responses...it is great to seee how the different words and their meanings keep building into yet a different topic and always got right back on topic without missing a beat and yet so much learned by this...so sometimes in teh future polease do it again. (smile)

nit, it is hard just getting from the top to down to where the last comments I have read to get started on teh new day and rounds of the discussion and not trying to get to the blog it self. (smile)
