Mr. Obama likes the word democracy, but perhaps his constitutional training didn't give him a clear meaning of the word. I am sorry to say he is becoming a disappointment with his smooth talking. I'm not trying to pick a fight Irma, but really, we need to revise our foreign policy and stay out of other people's business. This goes for ALL our leaders, but of course our President has the highest profile.

I don't know Irma, will our race ever evolve to be a peaceful one, or is our nature irretrievably destructive. But I certainly think talk of impeachment is ridiculous, we would have to impeach them all!
Interesting story, when the Patriot Act was up for vote again recently, for the first time ever I called my rep's office (Jim Gerlach, who I had voted for) saying he should vote against it. Well we all know it passed easily, no party lines here! But I did get through to an actual live person, and just yesterday got a letter from his office thanking me for my concern and justifying his vote for it. All good, but the vote was still a bad one. I wonder how Manny Trivedi would have voted. Maybe I'll vote for him next time, but I think it's a crap shoot.

I can picture an attorney asking them, "When did you lie then or now about our president had dragged his feet in going into Libya" was it before he went in or after going in to fight a war with not one boot on the ground nor taking the led in going into Libya and promising not to be there for months nor for 8 to ten years but only for a few weeks"? lol (smile)
As Rachel says, our president does what no other president has done. Plus he did not get into office by lobby money, but by nickleing and dimeing it on the net. (smile)

@sTEVE, NEVER WORRY ABOUT PICKING A FIGHT WITH ME, as I am only here to dialogue which can only be done if I am able to step into the other person's shoes...actually Steve in reference to our Constutition, we are not in war that is if we call our fighting in a way not putting boots on teh ground or trying to protect oil fields...
but, even more important Steve we must not be able to change the laws / our constutition at eavey emotional out burst on party lines...example, if we look at the regan administration and this anministration which one did Congress ok us going to war with Gadaffi? Was Regan charged with wr crimes for killing Gadaffi's son if we were not at war with him?!? and, why is it not important to us in our country?
but, even more important why did the first president bush take us into war when Behrain was invaded by Iraq and not when it is invaded by Saudia Arabia...is tis country not still our allie or are we here hoping and praying that Iran do in Behrain to help innocent Muslims what we are doing in Libya...
INOTHER WORDS STEVE MY POINT IS IF OBEYIN / NOT OBEYING OUR CONSTUTION IS DEPENDANT ON WHAT WE ARE TAUGHT IS LEGAL / ILLEGAL BY WAY OF THE MASS MEDIA THEN WHAT USE IS THE CONSTITUTION IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?
AND, BEFORE I LEAVE STEVE, WHAT PART OF POLITICIANS (NOT COUNTING RONPAUL) WAS CALLING FOR US TO STAY OUT OF THE BUSINESS OF LIBYA ALL OF THE TIME BEFORE OUR PRESIDENT EXPLAINED WE WER NOT GOING TO WAR, WERE NOT TAKING THE LEAD IN LIBYA BUT WERE THERE AS SUPPORT FOR OUR ALLIES...OR THOSE WHO WILL HAVE THEIR NATIONAL SECURITY THREATEN BECAUSE THEY DO DEPEND ON LIBYA FOR OIL IN EUROPE AND HE DID STRESS WE GET NO OIL FROM HERE AND THAT THIS OIL WAS NOT EVEN WANTED AS THE OIL IN OTHER MIDDLE-EAST OIL RICH NATIONS BECAUSE THE OIL THERE IS DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...OH AND my brother Steve, in case you missed someof my blogs...I have been saying, "I" will have a hard time trusting our president at his word if he does not go into Behrain to protect the Muslims Saudia Arabia in their rights to protest against their government...and this was long before S.A. invaded Behrain...
"I" have alredy stated my fears of ourBush 1's war in Behrain(DESSERT STORM) when Iraq invaded and now that S.A has invaded tis country in a war against as theysay themselves the ****e Muslims then my greatest fear it Iran has the right to protect their own do they not?!? My brother Steve, you should be proud of your self. You allowed your person you voted for know who he/she is working for. That he has some who agrees with him and those who don't.Nothing keeps them on their toes that letting them know you ae his one vote he needs and you are not satisfied...Yes they do worry about loosing that O-N-E vote...it is just so easy fo rus the individual to remember they got there one vote at a time. so Steve good for you and keep it continue to let him know he must work for that vote. (smile)
Actually I am glad you stopped by so I can tell you I thought about your saying you loved studing the Bible...actually it is very hard to do especially if you ask questions or don't want to be called anti if not worst...
I was thinking about you as I watched L.
