known aas Siddhartha Gautama, abandoned his life as a prince in India to seek a means to end human suffering. the quest led him to attain enlightenment, awakening to the true nature of life. He dedicated the remainder of his life to teaching others to achieve the same state of enlightment. His teachings cuminated in the Lotus sutra, which elucidates the eternally present Buddha nature inherent in all life.
# Buddha Nature is the energy we all have to do right / wrong, to over come obsticles / to not over come obsticles, it is all up to each indivedual if they want to be happy/ not happy...
WHICH FOLLOWS "WHY PRACTICE NICHERN BUDDDHISM" ?
A peaceful world can only exist if people are happy. there are two kinds of happiness : relative and absolute. relative happiness refers to short lived.temporary happiness dependent upon external circumstances. The purpose of Buddhism is to establish lives of absolute happiness, an inner state of joy and confidence that can never be taken away. destroyed or defeated..
Through our practice (mostly based on reason and every day common sense) We awaken to the dignity and power that reside within us and transform ourselves on the deepest level. by chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo (or "I" devote my life to the mystic laws of cause and affect through sound)(you see I must be responsiable for my own actions as in the causes I make on me and my enviornment, and no one else can I pawn of my screw ups on any person, place or thing, ect.PERIOD!!!)...by chanting(prayer)We reveal our own inherent buddha Nature. which permeates all aspects of our lives, environment and the entire universe. As a result, we experience positive change and undergo a profound process of self-transformation called human revolution, which becomes the foundation of our lasting happiness.
And, as Steve Job said so wisely, "Don't waste your life trying to live another's life". Steve JOB and I did not practice the same Buddhism, but all of the Buddhist practices' goals are to over come the problems (obsticles)that comes with : birth, sickness, old age and death and every thing in between trying to come between you and your being happy Your" ABSOLUTE HAPPINESS".
