ALEX HALEY BECAUSE HIS ADVICE WAS TO START TRACING YOUR ROOTS BY GOING TO THE OLDEST PERSON IN THE FAMILY / THE FAMILY BIBLE...AND ON LEARNING SCANING THESE HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS FOR THENET IS ALMOST AN INSTANT INFORMATION PROCESS IF ONE HAS JUST A GOOD STARTING POINT LIKE A NAME OF PLANTATION AS MOST CHATELS WERE GIVEN NAMES OF PLANTATIONS AND LOCATIONS OF PLANTATIONS...

AND, ROBERT, BECAUSE THEY SHOWED THE KORAN OF THOMAS JEFFERSON AND GAVE SOME BACK GROUND...THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS GOT STARTED WITH THE THOUSANDS OF BOOKS OF JEFFERSON'S TAHT CONGRESS BROUGHT FROM HIMAFTER THE BRITISH BURNED THE ORIGINAL LIBRARY DOWN...AT THE TIME JEFFERSON HAD BOOKS IN 16 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AS HE WAS STUDYING LANGUAGES AT THE TIME...

JEFFERSON HAD ONE OF THE ORIGINAL KORANS WRITTEN IN ENGLISH...(SMILE)

OOPS, I GOT TO SEE JEFFERSON'S KORAN...JEFFERSON HAD A UNIQUE WAY OF WRITTING HIS NAME IN HIS BOOKS, I BELIEVE HE HAD 9,000...HE HAD A SPECIAL PLACE IN HIS BOOKS TO PLACE HIS 'J' (SO FAR IN MY NOTES I CAN'T FIND HOW MUCH CONGRESSPAID HIM FOR HIS BOOKS. DRAN IT!!!(NUP)
